How much does it cost?

The Digital Marketing Certificate costs $5,495 CAD, plus HST. A non-refundable Application Fee of $100 +HST is required to submit an application. If you are admitted to the program, this fee will be deducted from your tuition fees.

Due to the high demand for the program, failure to pay on time will result in you losing your seat to someone on the waiting list. To keep your seat, 50% of your tuition ($2,747.50) will be due within one week of your offer. The remaining tuition ($2,747.50 - $100 Application Fee), is due within one month of your initial offer.

How do I pay?

The Application Fee of $100 +HST is paid online when you apply using your credit card (payments are made through Stripe and are fully secure with end-to-end encryption).

Upon receiving an offer, tuition can be paid online (we'll invoice you and you can pay with a credit card), or you can pay by cheque (cheques should be made out to "Craft&Crew Corp.", with your name and "Ottawa DMC" in the memo line, and be sent, or dropped off in-person to:

If your employer is paying your tuition fee and seeking a rebate through the Canada Ontario Job Grant program, please be sure to let us know on your application submission and we'll provide you with more details if you are accepted.

What's included in the tuition?

Program materials and online materials (readings, videos, tests). We provide access to our growing alumni network, so that graduates of the DMC can stay connected and build a network of like-minded digital marketers in the Ottawa area and beyond.

You're responsible for your own laptop, coffee, snacks, and meals.

You'll also be responsible for any additional fees arising from the need to redo a test or project.

What's your cancellation policy?

Application Fee: A $100+HST fee is required to submit an application. This fee is non-refundable; however, if you are accepted into the program, it will be deducted from your total tuition owed.

Tuition: Due to the limited spots available in each cohort, we stick to a strict cancellation policy. Tuition fees paid are refundable for students who wish to withdraw, less the Application Fee and a 20% processing fee, up until 30 days prior to the cohort start date. Within 30 days from the cohort start date, tuition refunds will be dealt with by the Program Directors and at their sole discretion.

Withdrawal/Failure: If a student wishes to withdraw part-way through the program, or fails to meet the criteria required to achieve passing grades to earn a certificate, no refund will be possible.

Is there any financial support available?

If your employer pays the tuition, your employer can get either 50% or 84% reimbursement through the Canada-Ontario Job Grant program, depending on the employers' company size. Additionally, tuition fees are RESP-eligible.

At this time there are not any scholarships or bursaries available for this program, nor is OSAP support available, as the DMC is a not-for-credit program.

Can I get a tax receipt for this certificate?

This is not a for-credit program with the University of Ottawa. As such, it is not eligible for a tax receipt.

Will I get a T2202A tax slip?

As the DMC is a not-for-credit professional development program, like the professional development programs in uOttawa's downtown Centre for Executive Leadership, a T2202A tax slip cannot be issued.
